My name is Tyler DeAngelo. Since you are in the About section, I’ll tell you a little about myself.

I dropped out of college, moved into government housing and tried to be a famous snowboarder. I fell one too many times and realized I wasn’t good enough to buy myself more then a frozen burrito. I went back to college this time got kicked out. I guess I needed to bust my ass a few more times. Tried school again and replaced the snowboard with a keyboard which is why we meet today.

Advertising is in an amazing place right now. We are all experts and no one really has any idea what the hell they are talking about. Including me. I don’t care if you are a client, a creative, media planner or an account director we are all guessing. This isn’t a bad thing, in fact it’s fascinating. Our entire industry is trying to figure what it all means right now and I can’t imagine any other job in the world better then this.

Our business is communicating on behalf of someone else cause we do it better. Not even the coolest gadget, gizmo or twerp is going to help our client if we put technology in front of the message. That being said, we now have amazing ways of delivering information through innovation. All of these new tools will continue to create opportunity for marketers.

Advertising’s future is anyone’s best guess. It’s unlikely any one person will get it right. I hope you can use this site to learn something new.
