Hulu’s Lesson Learned

Hulu learned a valuable lesson last week that anyone anywhere will do well to learn from. Hulu, for those of you who don’t know…… is a website  developed by News Corp. and NBC. The site offers free viewing of full-length films and TV episodes, supported by advertising. Here is a link that explains more if you are interested.
The lesson Hulu learned really has nothing to do with advertising, but it’s an important one that I will metaphorically explain to you by transforming us back to kindergarten. The scene I’m setting up works well because even a small child with debilitating learning disabilities should understand early in their developmental process.

Facebook is not a Country Club it’s a Caddy Shack

Some time ago I was asked by the New York Times to comment on whether or not Facebook was a good place to make business connections. Here is a link to the article written by David Carr. My two cents is almost at the end.

I just told a friend of mine I was about to launch my blog. Being the super supportive guy he is, he told me know one is going want to hear about me getting up, going to work, going home, grocery shopping at Rite Aid, micro waving my dinner and going to bed. He’s right. Lucky for my readers, I’m not going to be writing about that. Although Rite Aid has a really good spice selection and I think that’s worth noting.
